The City-in-Hostel-B&B is an elegant, late 19th-century building that was completely renovated in the summer of 2013 and is therefore brand new. Located in the heart of the historic centre of Catania, in eastern Sicily, opposite Ursino Castle (the city’s civic museum), near the old fish market (a piscaria), and 200 metres from Piazza Duomo, it is very close to all the historical monuments and the centre of Catania’s nightlife.
It is easily accessible from the airport in 15 minutes and just a 5-minute drive from the port, railway station and bus station.
City-in-Hostel-B&B wanted to create a movement in its city that would bring travellers from all over the world who want to discover Catania and its beauty, its smells and its traditions.

You will be provided with a map of Catania and other documentation regarding possible excursions (don’t miss the excursion to Mount Etna), events, restaurants and any other activities you may be interested in. We are very up to date on cultural and recreational events in Catania and will be happy to keep you informed.
